our purpose
Juniper Lane exists to bring the magic of nature to your everyday life.
what we do
We offer expertly designed seasonal planters to homes and businesses in the Portland metro area.
We will choose the right plants for your location and for the season. Leave the heavy lifting to us so you can spend more time enjoying your outdoor spaces and less time working on them. We will elevate the look and feel of your home by bringing the natural world to your porch, pool or patio. We start with a 30 minute consultation where we will meet to discuss your needs. We will asses the lighting and get to know your style and your goals. Maybe you have existing containers or pots, if not we can help recommend ones based on your desired outcome. We are excited to create an outdoor space that encourages you to linger.
Our Commitment
At Juniper Lane, we are committed to sustainability. Every custom container we create is crafted from fully compostable materials that nurture the earth rather than deplete it. Our dedication to sustainability guides every choice we make. We're proud to source local plants and materials from Oregon growers and support small businesses whenever possible. We want the hummingbirds and bees to enjoy our gardens as much as you do.
Our Story
Thanks for being here, I’m Chelsea. I created Juniper Lane out of a love for the natural world. I spent my childhood in Eastern Oregon. We lived far enough down a dirt road that my sister and I drove our old Ford truck to the end of it each morning to meet the school bus (long before our feet could comfortably reach the pedals). The scent of sagebrush and juniper and the wide-open skies helped form a lifelong connection to nature and an appreciation for the changing seasons. Every November I would help collect evergreen boughs and red rose-hips and watch my amazing mom spend endless hours in the cold garage making beautiful fresh wreaths to send family and friends at Christmas. I watched my dad create an orchard and a garden that grew onions the size of cantaloupes.

This connection with nature never faded as I went on to study Art at the University of Oregon and began a career in sales and marketing. I stepped away from the corporate world to raise my children, and in the process, discovered a deep passion for gardening. Creating containers

filled with colors, textures and contrast feels a bit like art, and nature provides a great palette. That lifelong inner voice urging me to "start my own business" never left. Realizing life is too short not to pursue what I love—plants, design, and people—I took the leap. I live in Portland with my husband, two kids and floppy-eared English Coonhound, Scarlett.

Thank you for visiting Juniper Lane. I look forward to helping you create a space that’s as beautiful as the nature that inspired it.
